Issue/Introduction

The client missed having an automatic View backup run due to a system problem. 

The client would like to have a backup run and wanted to know as to how to initiate one.

Component : CA View

Resolution

As the client had just missed the running of a View backup, to keep as close-paced as possible, it was suggested for a backup to be initiated. 

A View backup can be initiated in two ways:

 . . /F sarstc,DUMP   --   Will write the reports to the same tape as was last used.

 . . /F sarstc,NEW      --   Will write the reports to a new tape.
