Issue/Introduction

Does CA Top Secret provide encryption for datasets at rest functionality?

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

CA Top Secret has Record Level Production, but its only valid in a CICS environment and accessing FCT file which is very limited. Outside of that we dont have anything. z/OS has Pervasive Encryption which can encrypt datasets at rest which CA Top Secret supports. 

Encrypting datasets at rest is an operating system feature.
