Issue/Introduction

Users started to notice that alarms were not generating on Access Points and the Last Successful Poll date was not current.  When the Access Point was polled it may or may not be successful depending on whether or not the AP was up or down.   If it was down, the model remains green, but if manually polled an alert is asserted.   If it was up, the Last Successful Poll would not update.

Environment

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

Flaw in the code for registering the polls on the Access Point modeltype.

Resolution

This is resolved in Spectrum_10.03.02.PTF_10.3.230 which needs to be installed on top of BMP #1 for 10.3.2

DE425793 Details:

Symptom : No Alarm generated when Access point is down.

Resolution: Added check to prevent scheduling of two attributes NRM_DeviceCPUUtilization (0x12aaa)\nNRM_DeviceMemoryUtilization (0x12ac6) for models derived from pingable.
