Issue/Introduction

Hyper PTF RO94841

Title: 64-BIT STORAGE OVERLAY WITH MAXUSER > 4095

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                                     

ACF2 initialization processing erroneously allocates a single            

1MB segment in 64-bit storage for a structure containing multiple        

slots with "ACFQCELL" eyecatchers. The structure needs to be large       

enough to accommodate one ACFQCELL per ASID. For sites that specify       

a MAXUSER value greater than 4095 the single 1MB segment is not          

enough. The problem symptoms are largely unpredictable but will          

typically show a storage overlay in the 1MB segment that follows         

the ACF2 ACFQCELL segment.                                               

                                                                         

SYMPTOMS:                                                                

Symptoms vary depending on how the overlaid storage is being used.       

Known symptoms include abends in ACF04RSV resource rule processing:
