Issue/Introduction

This article describes how to change the IDM UI session time out for Virtual Appliance


Environment

Release : 14.x

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Resolution

To change the IDM User Console session timeout in Virtual appliance do the following:


  • In your Virtual Appliance navigate to /opt/CA/VirtualAppliance/custom/IdentityManager/config 

  • Edit session-timeout to the desired timeout setting

Note: The default setting is 30 minutes



  • Once the file has been updated, restart IDM
