Issue/Introduction

We are using CA Identity Suite (vAPP). We need to add a jar file (mssql-jdbc-7.2.1.jre8.jar, for example) in the folder /opt/CA/IdentityGovernance/data-integration/lib/ to run a PDI transformation with a native MS SQL Server connection. We get a "permission denied" on this folder. How can we achieve this?

Resolution

1. Copy the data-integration folder to the location where you have permissions.

2. Do the changes to this folder however you want.

3. In IG, Change the PDI home directory with the new Path using the "Home > Administration > System Checkup > "PDI Checkup" and update the "PDI Home Directory" with new location. Make sure you have the proper permissions to execute.

4. Now, IG uses the new PDI location for running any pdi scripts. You should be able to run the Import.
