1. from Ca Virtual Appliance console, please use the Help option to display information about :

 

Valid Deployment Options

 

Supported deployment options :

 

When deploying an Identity Suite solution, you may choose from one of the pre-defined deployment options (Demo, Sandbox, Non-Production, Production).

The pre-defined deployments represent the CA recommended best practices. However, in case you choose to make a modification to one 

of the recommended deployment options, your deployment must adhere to one of the following configurations.

 

Note: the supported deployment options are per deployment, not per server.



2. Examples :

A)  the components can be distributed this way on a Cluster Scenario :

 

vApp IP 10.0.0.54 (IM,CS,US,PS) 

vApp Ip 10.0.0.55 (IM,CS,US,PS) 

vApp Ip 10.0.0.56 (IG) 

vApp Ip 10.0.0.52 (IP) 

vApp Ip 10.0.0.53 (IP) 

 

Best practice to have Cluster (and IG) on a same Vlan

 

B) if you have 2 Nodes available Only, may be you can do this :

 

 vApp IP 10.0.0.54 (IM,CS,US,PS,IP) 

vApp Ip 10.0.0.55 (IG)
