How to enter a blank password for a database when running the ConfigTool?  

Environment

  • Output Management Web Viewer 12.1
  • IBM Db2 

 

Resolution

It is not possible to leave the password blank. A type 4 database needs a password.

Generally there is a userid defined for OM Web Viewer with a non expiring password.
