Issue/Introduction

Have a Dynam disk file:

CAYD-2110
Data Set: AAA.BBBB.CCCCC
Type:     DISK          
                        
Ngens:           5 
Density:      CART 
Block Size:    OPT  
Record Length:  70   DYNAM/FI:       NO

 

Defined the file in stdlabel as:
// DLBL AKKHBIF,'AAA.BBBB.CCCC',,SD

Tried several definitions in CSI TCP stack, eg:  

DEFINE FILE,PUBLIC='AAA.BBBB.CCCC',DLBL=AAABBBB,TYPE=SAM  - 
              READ=YES,RECFM=F,LRECL=78

Using windows command mode to try GET'ing the file, without luck.                    

Always get the following error:

T213: IPF106E Sequential wrong length error has been detected. >
DLBL:AKKHBIF                                                   
T213: IPF107I Sequential record count of DLBL:AAABBBB is 0   

 

Tried with different variations of recfm, lrecl etc. but no luck. Any advise?

Cause

appears to be result of incorrect blksize

Resolution

Use Ditto to show the correct BLKSIZE.
