Smarttrace shows *WARNING* Truncated packet.

the total length is 161 bytes, which is quite small and yet the packet has been truncated.

Release : 12.2

Component : CA NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP

Resolution

The Dump output shows 102 bytes because this is a limitation of the OSA device.

There are some options on the VARY TCPIP,,OSAENTA command used to start the trace that control the amount of data (FULL, ABBREV).

I recommend using a TCP trace for the endpoints involved to capture more than the OSA tracing provides.
