Issue/Introduction
User gets the following messages when logging on to CA 7 via ISPF.
CA-7.X002(20 1832) REQSESS FAILED, R15 = 00E000FE
CA-7.X015(20 1852) REQSESS FAILED, R0 = 00000000
CA-7.X010(20 18BA) RTNCD = 00000010 FDBK2 = 00000012
CA-7.X005(00 03E2) SESSION TERMINATED DUE TO ERROR
Resolution
Check the following:
- Verify the APPLID in the Clist is correct.
- Verify that APPLID is defined to VTAM via command: D NET,ID=xxxxxxxx (where xxxxxxxx is the APPLID).
- Verify the ACB's are defined to VTAM.
- If trying to access CA 7 from a remote lpar, verify the ACB is setup for cross domain (CDRM).
- Check CA 7 Datacom MUF for any error messages.
