Issue/Introduction

The customer received his LMP Site Key, but it is not being accepted.  The following error message is being generated:

CAS9180S - CPU 014E87 REQUIRES AN LMP KEY TO RUN PROD (KD) TOP SECRET/VSE

Environment

  • z/VSE
  • CA CIS 1.4

Resolution

The SITEID and SITECODE statements can go in the first uncommented record of the CALMPKEY.A Library. In many cases the NAME statement will not fit on the first line, so it should go on the second line and the full name must be used as provided. When using a second line, you will need to place a continuation - (dash) character on the first line in column 72:

                                                           Column 72   v

SITEID(xxxxxxxx) SITECODE(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)                       -

NAME(VERYVERYVERYLONGCOMPANYNAME)

The product cards can follow with the recommended format for the CPU statement:

PROD(xx) DATE(xxxxxxx) CPU(*SITE*-/xxxxxxxx) LMPCODE(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)
