Issue/Introduction

Why am I unable to discover Windows machines using WMI from a Linux robot running the discovery_agent probe?

Release: Any
Component: discovery_agent

Resolution

Currently WMI from a discovery_agent running under a Linux robot is not supported. In order to discover your Windows machines using WMI you will need to install the discovery_agent probe on a Windows robot and discover from there.
