Issue/Introduction

We are getting below error in the Riskfort error logs: 

 

Thu Aug 22 00:24:05.629 2019 WARNING: pid 5269 tid 3887070064: 2: 20:17070173: ArDBPoolManagerImpl::isKnownFailure: Error state [HYT00] is detected as known failure(type:0)!

Thu Aug 22 00:24:05.631 2019 WARNING: pid 5269 tid 3832544112: 2: 20:17070162: ArDBPoolManagerImpl::isKnownFailure: Error state [HYT00] is detected as known failure(type:0)!

Thu Aug 22 00:24:05.666 2019 WARNING: pid 5269 tid 4017093488: 2: 20:17070160: ArDBPoolManagerImpl::isKnownFailure: Error state [HYT00] is detected as known failure(type:0)!

 

Because of this error, Riskfort server is re-establishing the connections to the DB which is impacting the performance.

Request you to let us know under which scenario this error occurs, what is the cause of the error and how to mitigate this error. 

Please note, we don't have detail mode logs as server was in FATAL mode during the error and logged above errors only.

Resolution

Based on our understanding, we have seen the error 'ArDBPoolManagerImpl::isKnownFailure: Error state [HYT00] is detected as known failure' in other customer scenarios whenever DB was not reachable from RA server. Would recommend you to check the DB connectivity from RA server.
