How do we have Faver cut SMF records?

Component: Faver for z/OS

Cause

The design of Faver does not default to cutting SMF records.

Resolution

You might try altering the Faver security exit so it cuts SMF records.   

In SAMPLIB(GVBSECCK)   there is a sample exit. If you modify this to cut 

SMF records then you will have a tracking methodology.                   

Faver is like IDCAMS in some respects. It works as a utility and not an

application.
