Service Catalog view.log full of:

ERROR [pool-113-thread-2] [ESClient] Failed to connect to Elasticsearch
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

Environment

Service Management 17.x

Cause

Misconfigured ElasticSearch references in Service Management parameter tables.

Resolution

1) Provided that XFlow/Service Point is being used, make sure the "CA Service Management Search Server" is properly installed and running.
You can double check it taking a look at Windows Services (if Windows).

2) If installed and running properly, make sure the Search Server is correct.

Go to:
Service Desk Classic Interface -> Administration -> XFlow Settings -> Search Servers

3) In case XFlow/Service Point is not being used.

Go to:
Home -> Administration -> Events-Rules-Actions -> Request Change -> Sync Elastic search for request change rule.

4) Disable this rule and restart  Service Catalog.
