Issue/Introduction

DBUTLTY SPILL gets error:

DB13001E - UNEXPECTED RETURN CODE 40 (114) EXTENDED RWTSA SIZE ERROR 

Environment

Datacom 15.1

Datacom/AD 15.1  

Cause

MUF TASKS size parameter needs to be larger than the LXX block size.

When using variable logging the block size is set to 32760.

Also, if the SPILL job is run from a remote LPAR  using XCF, additional overhead bytes are needed.

Resolution

Increase the size on the TASKS startup option to 34K. The size is the second positional parameter:

TASKS    500,34K,0,0,450
