Issue/Introduction

User getting a RC 8 8 44 for a  RACF Callable Service r_datalib function GetFirst running his IBM SMPE Internet Retrieval batch job.

According to the RACF Callable Services Guide, the 8 8 44 means 'No trusted certificate found.'

Resolution

After listing all the certificates on the keyring to make sure all the certificates have the TRUST attribute and not expired, we found out one of the certificates didnt exist.

It was deleted after the keyring was already created.

Deleted the certificate that no longer existed from the keyring and the problem resolved.
