ABEND S0C4 LMOD ACFMAIN CSECT ACF8ATLB after ACF2 maintenance

Issue/Introduction

The following abend was encountered at IPL time after applying ACF2 maintenance that impacts the ACFFDR:

 

CSR010E ACF8AENV S0C4 at 0000FBB4 LMOD ACFMAIN CSECT ACF8ATLB +0001E4         

Cause

The APPLY output showed the following:

Overriding Parameters- XREF(SHORT),DECK,NOOBJECT,USING(WARN(2)),NOALIGN 

ACF2 installation member hlq.SAMPJCL(ACF3CSI) shows the following:

ADD UTILITY(ASMA90) NAME(ASMA90) RC(0)         

    PARM(NOXREF,DECK,NORLD,NOOBJECT)

Resolution

This specific abend is related to the ACFFDR assembly option NOALIGN. Remove NOALIGN from the ASMAOPT parameters and REDO the ACFFDR USERMOD (UM99901) APPLY.
