Installed Java 8 and XOG client but still saying java is not installed

Issue/Introduction

I have installed XOG but unable to connect. Receiving the following error when running xog command:

"This version of the XOG client only works with Java 8."

"The following actions can be taken to resolve the problem: 

1> Install Java 8 JRE and set the JAVA_HOME and PATH environment variables accordingly. 

2> If Java 8 is already installed on the system, please use the '-javaHome argument to specify the installation location"

I do have Java 8 JRE installed. Not sure specifying the JAVA_HOME path.

Release : 15.5

Component : CA PPM SAAS XML OPEN GATEWAY (XOG)

Resolution

Path under system variables was missing reference to %SystemRoot%\system32
