I want to add, edit or change the custom field values for the Scheduled State field of User Stories.
The Schedule State field only offers limited customization options. Up to two custom schedule states can be added. However, their placement is restricted. There can be one added at the begging and one at the ending of the default standard schedule states. It is not possible to insert a schedule state between the default schedule states. The process is somewhat non-intuitive and unless the steps are followed the changes will not take place. The user must have at least Workspace Administrator permissions.
1. Access the tools menu from Agile Central by clicking on the hammer and wrench icon.
2. Click on or select the 'Workspace & Projects' menu.
3. Select the Workspace or Project for which the User Story values need to be editied.
4. Select the blue 'Fields' link on the left under the Workspace name.
5. Select User Story in the Type drop down box.
6. Click on the gear icon to the left of Scheduled State and then click edit
7. Edit the Value to read something other than Custom 1, then click on the Enabled button, then click the green Actions check mark to update the value.
8. Click Save at the bottom of the window.
This process is the same whether adding the custom value, editing or deleting. The important thing to remember is to alter the name and click on the green Action check.
After completing edits, be sure to refresh your browser to see the changes.
