Issue/Introduction

We are running the batch online viewing cleanup process (DSEXVIEW/DSEXPSVW) daily.

Our CA Dispatch OV file is continually filling up.

We have to increase the size of our OV file.

We need assistance setting the BLOCK, IXBLOCK and TOTBLK symbolics in the DSEXOVX/CADSOVX migration JCL.

Resolution

As per July 2013 publication: RI61029 

The maximum size that the CA Dispatch OV database file can be is 189,998 blocks.

The following symbolic settings in the DSEXOVX/CADSOVX JCL reflect the MAXIMUM SIZE for OV database file:

BLOCK=149998

IX-BLOCK= 40000

TOTBLK=189998
