Resolve an S806 abend for PANMODI module when running in compatibility mode under Easytrieve release 11.6?

When running in compatibility mode either by specifying NEWFUNC=N or by executing a load module created under a prior release of CA Easytrieve before release 11.x, the compatibility option table module EZTPOPT is used. The EZTPOPT module delivered with CA Easytrieve Release 11.x contains only default options.

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6-C

Resolution

The parameter in question is MACRO which has the default is (PAN,PANMODI).

To use the option table settings specified in prior release 6.4, please copy the EZTPOPT module from your release 6.4 CAILIB to your release 11.6 CBAALOAD library and change the MACRO parameter to PDS via running the ASM64OPT job found in your release 11.6 CBAAJCL library.
