SQL Server Database - Usage of AD account instead of Niku

Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to use AD account instead of NIKU account for Clarity SQL server database connection authentication? The AD account is sometimes referred to as a domain account also.

Resolution

For SQL server we recommend creating and using a separate NIKU user as per our Installation Guide.

SQL server AD (Active Directory) Authentication for niku / ppm_dwh users in Clarity is not supported at this time
