CA WA Agent on Windows fails to install "Not Enough Room"

Issue/Introduction

CA WA Agent installation fails on Windows.

Environment

Release : 11.4

Component : CA WORKLOAD AUTOMATION AGENT

Cause

The Windows have additional controls in place to prevent OS modifications.  This will prevent WA Agent installer to write to filesystem and make an entry to registry.

The installer adds the WA Agent as service to the registry so that agent can be started or stopped from Services console.  The installer sea.lck file may show that Windows is returning 0KB ad free space and it may also shows this error: unable to unzip error code -1995

Resolution

The issue appears to be with permission on Windows. The C, D and other drives have write permission disabled. The OS has additional controls in place to prevent OS modifications.  Stop the protection controls temporarily to allow the WA Agent install.
