Issue/Introduction

The QSYSOPR will show following messages in CA WA Agent 11.4


Job message queue for 123456/QUSER/QZRCSRVS has been wrapped.



Environment

Release: 11.4


Component: CA Workload Automation Agent for i5

Cause

The job message queue is due to changes in 11.4.  It now processes more jobs faster than 11.3.  

For this to happen, it has to constantly monitor the queue.  This results in the job message queue.  The messages can be ignored as they are wrapped.


Resolution

To see fewer messages in job queue the following changes may be made in the agentparm.txt os400.job.monitor.interval to 10000 (10 seconds).  

Default is 10 (ms).


os400.job.monitor.interval=10000


Restart agent for the parameter to take affect.

Note: Changing or increasing the value may result in delay in job execution and completion

It is recommended to leave the value to it as default.
