CA 7 PF3 key causes CA-7.X002 and CA-7.X015 error messages

Issue/Introduction

What causes the following message when using the PF3 key within CA 7?

CA-7.X002 (20 10BE) TERMSESS FAILED - R15: 000B2402

CA-7.X015 (20 10E2) TERMSESS FAILED - R15: 00000000

 

Resolution

To address this, remove the END verb within the ISPF 3.9 for application ID CA 7.  The END verb is not longer needed in 12.0/12.1.  You can also include a /PF3 key in your INIT deck file with a value of /CLOSE which would address the issue.
