Unable to see "Time Varying Type" whilst creating a time varying attribute

Issue/Introduction

Steps To Reproduce: 

1. Identify an object which is not linked to any financial Department or Location OBS

2. Navigate to that object and click on New Attribute

3. Select the Data Type as Time-Varying

Expected: Below the Data Type, a drop down field appears with the name as Time Varying Type with the options as Calendared & Fiscal. 

Actual: The Time-Varying Type field is missing. 

Once the other fields are filled and Saved, the Time Varying Type appears with the default value as Calendared and with no option to change it to Fiscal.

Component : CA PPM SAAS APPLICATION

Cause

The Time Varying Type - Fiscal is not appearing because the object is not attached to any financial OBS. 

For example, if Project object is not attached to any Financial OBS like Department or Location, then the Time Varying data type attribute will not have Fiscal Time Varying Type in Project or sub objects of Project like Cost Plan Details. 

 

Resolution

The object will have to be attached to the Financial OBS.
