Does the IDMS MQ interface run on Ziip or CP?

Resolution

The MQ call itself runs on CP. Normally making a call into IDMS, we will swap from User/TCB mode to System/SRB mode. To make the MQ call we had to swap back to TCB mode. When linking the IDMSMQI stub with your application, when making an MQ call we will switch from user mode to system mode and back, but we will stay in TCB mode for the entire call, even when processed by another TCB. We did not spend enough time in SRB mode to justify swapping back and forth.
