Issue/Introduction

Attempted to copy a report program from shared to private catalog.  

Then within the private catalog tried to repeat that report program.  

Instead it fell into some kind of loop with the Dialog Assist screen.  

Now option 2 (Database Inquiries) is unusable.  How can this be repaired?

Resolution

From the error it appears that member ICFINQA1 is corrupted in the table dataset(*.MICS6.USER.TABLES).

ICFINQAn members are just "temporary" tables used when editing an inquiry; the real inquiries are stored in S@* members. 

Backup the original table dataset and then remove the ICFINQA* members, and try to edit the inquiry in MICF again.
