Issue/Introduction

Message TRAC305A - SYSID nnnn MAY BE ASLEEP is issued when the primary system that does not have a lot of activity and has not recently cycled.   The amount of time that Jobtrac waits before the secondary system issue this message can be increased using the SYNCTOL option in JOBTRA00.

Environment

Release : 11.0

Component : JOBTRAC

Resolution

There is not a setting that can be changed so that the TRAC305A is not displayed.  The SYNCTOL option in JOBTRA00 is available to  delay the number of seconds the primary submission system can be idle before the secondary system automatically issues a WTO to request primary event submission duties. The max value for this is 999.  The Multisys Sync Dormancy in the Jobtrac global options take on the value set for SYNCTOL.

As always, please contact Broadcom support for Jobtrac Job Management if you have further questions.
