Issue/Introduction

Running 'df -kh' command shows my vApp has no much disk space left. I want to increase the disk space of the vApp. Following steps at "Resize the Virtual Disk" section in below documentation

   https://docops.ca.com/ca-identity-suite/14-2/en/virtual-appliance/upgrading-virtual-appliance#UpgradingVirtualAppliance-DiskSpaceRequirements

I have turned off the vApp server, and added an extra (non-primary) disk to the vApp Virtual Machine, powered on the vApp server, logged in as 'config' user and run addDisk command. However, I am getting the following error.

[INFO] No disks were selected. Terminating

Environment

Release :  14.3, 14.4

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Cause

After you run addDisk command, from the screen capture we can notice that you didn't select the new added disk item before you hit <OK>.

The new added disk item is

      /dev/sdb    150G

If this item is selected then the asterisk (*) should be shown in the square bracket to the left of the disk item. It shows like below when it is selected.

    [*] /dev/sdb    150G

Resolution

Press Space key to select the newly added disk item. Make sure asterisk (*) is shown within the square brackets on the selected disk item. After that use Tab or arrow key to select <OK> and hit Enter.

Please run 'df -kh' command and you should see additional disk is added to the vApp Virtual Disk.
