Issue/Introduction

When performing an upgrade from View 12.1 to 14.0, a client received a DFHAC2206 message, indicating a transaction failure. 

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : CA View

Resolution

To ensure that all elements were addressed in the upgrade, had the client:


 . Ensure that the CICS definitions have been updated, and that the related CICS tasks have been recycled. 


 . Ensure that the EBCXMCTR table has been updated, using the latest SUBSYS=XME0 values. 


 . Ensure that the XMS parameters have been updated, including SUBSYS=XME0, and the related XMS tasks have been recycled. 


 . Ensure that any new XMS jobs or procs contain a unique RegionID (//... EXEC PGM=EBCDRV,PARM=('Region_ID,...')).
