DX UIM Iis there any way to preserver the configuration files of probes while uninstalling and installing the robot?

Issue/Introduction

There is a need to do a clean reinstall of a robot, is there a way to preserve probe customizations?

The answer is yes. 

1 Before uninstalling the robot, go to IM and drag and drop the probes from the robot to archive. 

2 there will be a popup window 'Update Packages' showing the name of the problem, a check box 'Configuration Only', and 'Rename' button 

3 un-check the 'Configuration Only' option 

4 click Rename and rename for example: cdm-robot10 

5 click OK, it will create the new .zip file with probe binary and probe current configuration in archive 

6 after the client reinstall of the robot the saved package can be redeployed to the robot.
