Xmanager address space dispatching priority with USECOLLTASKS (Y)

Issue/Introduction

One of the requirements of Detector (PDT) enhancement about the redesign of SQL Collection Process is to have a higher dispatching priority to Xmanager address space than the dispatching priority of DBM1, DIST or WLM address spaces. 

Resolution

We recommend that Xmanager address space has a dispatching priority higher than DB2 DBM1, DIST or WLM address spaces, any allied address space such as CICS, IMS, or WebSphere, or any address space that is executing SQL. If the policy of your shop is such as that those other started task are at the same level as XMANAGER that is fine as long as you are not using USECOLLTASKS (Y) but if you are using USECOLLTASKS (Y) then you can loose data if Xmanager does not have higher priority than the above mentioned tasks.
