Issue/Introduction

I have completed a fresh installation of ROSCOE 6.0 for our upgrade to z/OS 2.2 and I have the region up and running.   LIBRARIAN 4.4 CALJLINK is in the STEPLIB concatenation.  Whenever I try to import or attach a file I receive messages like:

DSN193 CA-LIBRARIAN SUBSYSTEM IS NOT ACTIVE and IMP119 CA-LIBRARIAN SUBSYSTEM IS NOT ACTIVE.

Environment

Release : 6.0

Component : CA Roscoe Interactive Environment

Cause

- Both DSN193 and IMP119 message indicate that the Librarian subsystem is not up.

- Make sure that the LAM subsystem, which is Librarian, is active.

Resolution

- Both DSN193 and IMP119 message indicate that the Librarian subsystem is not up.

- Make sure that the LAM subsystem, which is Librarian, is active.

If you are not currently using CA Librarian then you can check for a module named module LAMMVS8. When you find it, please rename this and then restart Roscoe.
