Issue/Introduction

Are below commands connecting directly to Autosys DB and bypassing app server?

forcast -J

job_depends -t

 

Environment

Release : 11.3.6

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Resolution

The forecast command does not use the Application server to connect to the DB.

It uses the $AUTOUSER/config.$AUTOSERV file to get the connection information to the DB.

The job_depends command does use the Application Server.
