ERRORS AFTER INITIAL OCX/ACTIVEX CONTROL DOWNLOAD IS CANCELED
Why do I get the message, "Another report action is already in progress" when or after trying to download the ActiveX control?
When the Web Viewer's Print/Email ActiveX Control is being downloaded and if the
user cancels or chooses 'Don't Install', the background request is not
terminated. When a subsequent Save, Export, Print, or Email is requested, an
error stating "Another report action is already in progress. You have to
close or cancel that report action or wait for it to finish before
continuing..." is issued. The 'Force Action Cancel' button does not
mitigate the situation, and the user must log out and back in again to continue.
There is no real "solution" for this problem. The circumvention is to NOT cancel or choose NOT to install the initial ActiveX download, but to allow it to complete.
