If you try to start the Java transformers manually, CAIQD2E abends with a S0C4.

Cause

The CAIQD2E STC MUST be automatically started, by the CA Spool started task. It cannot be started with a manual start command.

Resolution

The CAIQD2E STC MUST be automatically started, by the CA Spool started task. It cannot be started with a manual start command. When a job requires Transformation, the environment is created and the CAIQD2E STC is started automatically. If you want to start the CAIQD2E for verification purposes, use one of the IVP (Installation Verification Program) jobs we provide. For instance: the A2PDIVPJ job is a sample job that shows AFP to PDF Transformation. The IVP jobs are in the CE0CGEN library.
