Memory utilization increases continuously in Clarity

Issue/Introduction

Clarity services memory utilization continuously grows until services are restarted.   

Environment

Release : 15.x

Cause

There can be multiple causes:

• You may need to review the hardware allocation to see if there is a need for additional memory on the servers 
• You are running any antivirus scan and that scans the Clarity folder.
• There could be a potential memory leak and the support team can run diagnostics and confirm the same

Resolution

1. Ensure you have the right sizing. Review our recommendations at: Clarity Architecture and Sizing Recommendations
2. Ensure you exclude Clarity folders from antivirus scans
