Issue/Introduction

There are multiple systems in different time zones setup in our complex and would like to verify the prime & non-prime start and end.
Is the prime and non-prime hours based on CPU processing time executed on the mainframe the job/process is executing from?
Is there a way to determine that in the MICS parm/setup?

Release : 14.2

Component : MICS

Resolution

The time is based on the time of the CPU where the job ran which is also where the SMF data came from.
It’s not where MICS is running.  All the time values come from the SMF data where the jobs ran and MICS sets the zone based on those time values.
