Converting from SMTP to CSSMTP and we are no longer getting Endevor Email Notifications

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the operating system to z/OS 2.3 we had to convert from SMTP to CSSMTP.  As a result of this conversion, we are no longer getting Endevor email notifications.  Is there anything that needs to be done with Endevor to resolve this? 

Resolution

If your site has converted upgraded to Z/os 2.3 and converted SMTP to CSSMTP, you will need to update the $ESMTP macro in the iprfx.iqual.CSIQOPTN library. 

Please change the below line from: 

&SMTPTASKNAME=SMTP, (REQ'D) NAME OF THE SMTP ADDR SPACE X

to 

&SMTPTASKNAME=CSSMTP, (REQ'D) NAME OF THE SMTP ADDR SPACE X

Once you have updated the macro, you will need to re-assemble and re-link the ESMTPTBL.
