Critical bug in Apache Struts 2 framework targeted by massive attacks over last 48 hours noted in recent press releases. Does this impact the Apache Tomcat WAS or the the CA Web Viewer running in it?

No. Struts 2 and Tomcat are completely separate applications. One has nothing to do with the other except they are both from Apache. Struts 2 would have nothing to do with how CA implements Apache Tomcat or Web Viewer.
