Issue/Introduction

After upgrading, when we check out files to our Solaris server we are getting a segmentation fault - core dump error.

Environment

Release : 13.0

Component : CA Harvest Software Change Manager

Resolution

This is a known problem and the solution is to delete the ".harvest.sig" files in all the folders, and let Harvest create new ".harvest.sig" files during the next checkout.  The side-effect is that the next time Harvest tries to synchronize the folder, it doesn't find a ".harvest.sig" file and will do a fresh checkout of everything in the folder.  This is a challenge in situations where you are using the date and timestamps on the files to know what was updated and when each update happened.  The fresh checkout will set all the date and timestamps to the current date and time.  However,  at this point it is the only option.  No utility exists that can repair the ".harvest.sig" files.
