Understanding space used within the nimsoft directory

Issue/Introduction

I recently added a secondary hub and noticed recently that the amount of space used by the hub has increase dramatically. Why is this?

Resolution

Usually there are a few things that can contribute to a rapid increase in disk space usage:

• a problem with QOS and or alarms queuing and not being forwarded
• recent addition of the distsrv probe and configuration of package forwarding from the primary
• extended logging configured, for the purpose of debugging and not have been turn back off
