Netmaster shortcuts not working on some regions (CM0008 error message)

Issue/Introduction

On some Netmaster regions, when a user issues a shortcut command, e.g. /PARMS,  the following error message is displayed:

CM0008 "/PARMS" is an invalid SHORTCUT

There are some PTFs related to this error message (RO96683 and RO96685 for 12.1, RO96708 and RO96710 for 12.2), but they are already applied.

Release : 12.1 12.2

Component : CA NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP

Cause

The Netmaster regions cannot open TESTEXEC dataset due to the ESM (External Security Manager) rules.

For example, CA ACF2 returned the following errors:

ACF99913 ACF2 VIOLATION-00,00,lid,volume,hlq.netmast.TESTEXEC,N/A

ACF90913  -DATASET CANNOT BE OPENED; AUTHORIZATION IS REQUIRED.

Resolution

Authorize the Netmaster region to access the TESTEXEC dataset.
