Rally - Certain users can't access one view from the Work Views page

Issue/Introduction

Certain users cannot access a specific view on the Work Views page.

The error message shown is:

Could not read: Not authorized to read object Project <PROJECT_OID>

Cause

This can be caused when the view contains filters for projects that are closed or projects that the end-user does not have permission to access.

Resolution

Closed Project:

This issue can be resolved in 2 ways:

• Opening up the project
• Delete the view and creating a new view for the remaining open projects

 

Project Permission:

This issue can be resolved in 2 ways:

• Grant the end-user a minumum of view permission to the project
• Delete the view and creating a new view for projects the user has permission to access
