CA Harvest Software Change Manager CA Harvest Software Change Manager - OpenMake Meister

Issue/Introduction

We had a situation that users couldn’t logon to Harvest. Looked
at the logs and found an error referring to a lost database connection. Found
out that the server was down where the Harvest database resided. If we recycle the Oracle DBMS server, do we need to recycle Harvest as well?

Release : 12.5

Component : CA Harvest Software Change Manager

Resolution

Answer is yes. If the Oracle DBMS goes down or gets restarted, you will need to restart the SCM Broker at that time.
