Error when stopping Vertica Database that users are connected

Issue/Introduction

When trying to stop the Vertica database on the Data Repository (DR) , an error is received:

 

"Error, NOTICE 2519: Cannot shut down while users are connected"

Environment

Dx NetOps Performance Management

Resolution

This indicates that the Data Aggregator (DA) may still be running.  The DA needs to be stopped before the Data Repository (DR) can be stopped, as noted here:
