Issue/Introduction

What are the following libraries for.  (Those libraries are not described in the installation Guide or other manuals.)

CADB2.V20R0M0.ADBAJAR
CADB2.V20R0M0.ADABJCL
CADB2.V20R0M0.ADABMAC
CADB2.V20R0M0.ADABPARM
CADB2.V20R0M0.ADABSQL

(ADBAJAR is not described in the Installation Guide or other manuals.  And the libraries begin with ADAB such as ADABJCL are not also described in the Installation Guide or other manuals. )

It is already knows that all distribution libraries begin with ADBA.  (It was stated in the Installation Guide.)

Environment

Release : 20.0

Component : CA Log Analyzer for DB2 for z/OS

Resolution

CADB2.V20R0M0.ADABJCL

CADB2.V20R0M0.ADABMAC

CADB2.V20R0M0.ADABPARM

CADB2.V20R0M0.ADABSQL

The CADB2.V20R0M0.ADBAJAR dataset is the distribution dataset for the ZFS filesystem (CDBAZFS) which would be used during ACCEPT processing.

For the ADABxxxx libraries, the packaging department regarding those libraries said as follows.

Essentially for the Report Facility product there was a mistake made during the build of the base r20 release where the incorrect distribution datasets were specified. Unfortunately this was not caught until later and could not be corrected without requiring all users to reinstall the r20 release.

Please ignore those libraries. The installation environment is correct and defined correctly. Even though those ADAB libraries exist, there is nothing the site must do regarding this concern.  All SMP/E processing will be successful.
